The Wu Dengyun Exhibition Hall is situated in the urban area of Wuqia County, with an area of 320 square meters. It displays the illustrious life of Wu Dengyun, the people’s esteemed doctor. The exhibition highlights the lofty spirit and selfless dedication of this medical professional who worked tirelessly for the people of the plateau and committed himself to the frontier regions. The hall features exhibits on the splendid life and moving stories of the “Son of the Pamirs,” presented through written materials, photographs, and physical objects. Comrade Wu Dengyun was honored as a National Model Worker in 1998, and in 2001, he was personally awarded by the General Secretary. In recent years, Comrade Wu Dengyun has also been recognized as a National Advanced Individual in Supporting the Military and Respecting the People, as well as a National Outstanding Communist Party Member.
