Halajun Bagusugeti Ancient Willow Grove
Halajun Bagusugeti Ancient Willow Grove
The Bagusugeti Ancient Willow Grove is situated northwest of Halajun Township in Artux City, approximately 130 kilometers from Artux. This nearly thousand-year-old ancient willow forest has earned fame as a popular tourist spot far and wide.
Spanning 120 acres, the Bagusugeti Ancient Willow Grove showcases willow trees in a stunning variety of shapes — some stand upright and majestic like valiant warriors; others sway gracefully like dancing fairies; some lie prostrate on the ground like lions poised to pounce; others resemble dragons diving into the sea, churning waves; some look like crocodiles guarding the woods; still others appear as armored warriors ready for battle. The oldest tree is a massive willow that requires four people to encircle, nearly a thousand years old, with a dried trunk but a crown still crowned in vibrant green. Scientific assessments indicate that this willow grove is at least 800 years old. Clear spring water gushes from the roots of the willows, flowing gently into the distance. The water is sweet and refreshing, leaving a lasting impression. In the hot summer months, the area offers a cool and pleasant retreat, making it an ideal summer escape.
