The Grotesque Willow Forest is located in the northwest of Halajun Township, Artux City, about 120 kilometers from downtown Artux. It is an ancient willow forest with a history of nearly a thousand years and has become a widely renowned tourist destination, recognized as a AAA-level scenic spot.

Spanning 120 acres, the willows in the Grotesque Willow Forest display a remarkable variety of shapes—some stand firmly upright like mighty warriors; some are elegantly curved like fairies dancing; some lie prostrate on the ground like lions ready to pounce; some twist and surge like dragons diving into the sea; some block the path like crocodiles guarding the woods; and some resemble armored soldiers awaiting orders to charge. The oldest tree is a giant willow that requires four people to encircle, with a history of nearly a thousand years. Though its trunk is dry, its canopy remains lush and green. Scientific assessments indicate that this willow grove is at least 800 years old. Crystal-clear spring water seeps from the roots of the willows and flows gently into the distance. The water is sweet and refreshing, leaving a lingering aftertaste. In the hot summer months, the area offers a cool and pleasant retreat, making it an ideal destination for escaping the heat.
