Atushi is renowned as the hometown of figs. Figs, also known as "immortal fruit" or "sugar buns growing on trees," were introduced to Atushi from Persia during the Tang Dynasty. Atushi figs are large, juicy, brightly colored, high in sugar content, sweet and delicious, and contain trace amino acids, making them an excellent cancer-preventive fruit.

The Azihan Fig Folk Culture Garden is a four-star agritainment destination, located in Azihan Village, Songtak Township, Atushi City, just 2 kilometers from downtown Atushi. Covering an area of 56 mu, the garden features grapevine pergolas running throughout. Fig trees are planted on both sides, with a mushroom-shaped Uyghur-style pavilion at the center, highlighting the distinctive pavilion style of Uyghur gardens in Atushi. During summer and autumn, numerous tourists visit to enjoy sweet figs and seedless white grapes under the cool pavilions and grapevine pergolas, admire the unique orchard scenery, and watch Uyghur song and dance performances and "Mashrap" concerts.
