Bachu White Sand Mountain
The White Sand Mountain Desert Park is located on the northern edge of the Taklamakan Desert within Bachu County, approximately 30 kilometers from the county seat of Bachu and about 27 kilometers from Tumushuke City. Established in 2014, the park covers a total area of 50 square kilometers with an investment of 8 million yuan.
Built around the desert landscape as its foundation, with heritage culture as its core attraction, and supplemented by off-road adventures, sandboarding, and leisure vacations, the White Sand Mountain Desert Park integrates desert scenery, cultural heritage, and off-road scientific exploration resources. It has developed unique tourism programs that perfectly combine specialized travel experiences with cultural immersion. The goal is to transform the White Sand Mountain area into a national desert park offering a diverse range of products — including sightseeing, experiential travel, science education, adventure, and leisure vacation.
