It is believed to be either Lancheng Shouzhuo or the ancient Shumi City mentioned in Jia Dan’s *Record of Routes and Distances* from the Tang Dynasty. A section of the city wall remains, approximately 60 meters long and 2 meters high, built with earthen bricks; the city wall is about 1,104 meters in circumference, with an inner partition wall. To the north of the city, there are two small mounds, and many pottery fragments are scattered nearby. To the east, there are many tall earthen mounds, which appear to be the ruins of buildings from that time. Further east, near the east-west thoroughfare, there is another larger mound, with an ancient irrigation channel beside the road.
