The Yutian Desert Rose Manor is located in Qixian’nv Village, A’erle Township, at the southern end of the county, on the southern edge of the Taklamakan Desert, 4.5 kilometers from the county seat. The Keriya River, originating from the icy canyons of the Kunlun Mountains, runs northward through the manor. The abundant light and heat resources, along with the warm temperate inland arid desert climate, provide the rose manor with uniquely favorable natural conditions. Spanning 22,000 acres, the rose manor is home to generations of simple local farmers. Roses belong to the Rosaceae family and are deciduous shrubs with stems densely covered in sharp thorns. They bloom in summer, producing flowers in colors such as red, purple, and white. The petals can be used to extract aromatic oils and high-end fragrances. In recent years, Yutian has developed this into an ecological ornamental industry, inviting experts and scholars to conduct in-depth research. Currently, the rose manor has begun to take shape, and locally produced rose tea has been developed, which offers health benefits such as regulating qi and promoting blood circulation. Further research on other aspects is ongoing. In the future, the refinement, packaging, and branding of the rose product series will elevate the cultural significance of the rose manor to a new level.
