Jinghua City

Jinghua City was built in the 29th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1764). The city wall was 3.5 li in circumference, 1.6 zhang high, and had four gates. The town of Hutubi was developed and expanded on the site of the former Jinghua City. There are five beacon towers (locally called Tangdun) within Hutubi County. The area also features seven temple ruins, a stone statue of a Turkic figure, and numerous ancient tombs.
