Maqiaozicheng is located within the territory of the 106th Regiment, 90 kilometers northwest of the county seat. It was built in the fourth year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1865). The city is 350 meters long from north to south and 170 meters wide from east to west, with walls over 3 meters high and 2.7 meters thick. To the northwest of this city lies another one, which is 195 meters long from north to south and 170 meters wide from east to west, with walls 4 meters high and 2 meters thick, surrounded by a moat. To this day, the city walls remain well-preserved, with traces of collapsed houses still visible, and ancient coins, porcelain shards, and jade artifacts lying exposed on the surface.
