Hutubi Dahai Zi National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

The Hutubi wetland area alone, represented by the Dahai Zi National Wetland Park, has a planned total area of 1,960.06 hectares, with a total wetland area of 1,619.73 hectares, giving it a wetland ratio of 82.64%. Among this, the reservoir area covers 1,015.40 hectares, the pond area 27.61 hectares, the river area 6.89 hectares, and the marsh area 569.83 hectares. The wetland park and its surrounding areas are rich in wildlife resources, with good biodiversity.

There are over 100 species of wetland wild plants, mainly including reeds, tamarisks, cattails, duckweeds, rushes, and Fritillaria pallidiflora, which are widely distributed along the reservoir shores, on water islands, and within the water bodies, providing favorable habitats for migratory birds to rest, feed, and breed. The wetland park is home to more than 300 species of animals, nearly 200 of which are bird species under key protection. Common nationally protected Class I and II waterfowl in the wetlands include the black stork, Siberian crane, and ruddy shelduck, with ducks, gulls, and sandpipers being the most numerous.
