The Yellow River Riverside Longhe Boardwalk scenic area is located on the eastern bank of the Yellow River in Yinchuan’s Binhe New District, 6 km from Yinchuan Hedong Airport and 20 km from downtown Yinchuan. Stretching 5 km from the Yellow River Hengcheng Tourist Area in the south to the Yellow River Military Culture Expo Park in the north, the area covers approximately 4,000 acres. The setting sun over the Yellow River, ancient Great Wall ruins, the ten-mile boardwalk, birds along the river, golden rice paddies, and vast orchards offer some of the most stunning scenery in the area. The ten-mile boardwalk resembles a ribbon of love tied around the Yellow River wetlands, while the colorful walking path winds through the expansive orchards. Scenic spots such as the Long Dike Thatched Cottage, Reed Garden, Sandy Farming Land, Bird-Watching Cliff, Golden Terrace, Colorful Beach, Pigeon Fish Bay, and Water Cloud Village each have their own unique charm. Cultural facilities and sculptures like the Yellow River Love Nest, Yellow River Waterwheel, and River Chart Fishing Net add distinctive character.
