Xiadian Guan Yu Temple

Xiadian Guan Yu Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Xiadian Guan Yu Temple is located in the east of Xiadian Village, Shangguan Town, Dai County. Its exact founding date is unknown. According to inscriptions within the temple, it was renovated in the first year of the Qianlong reign (1736) and the 14th year of the Daoguang reign (1834) during the Qing Dynasty. The temple faces south and covers an area of 1,088 square meters. It features a two-courtyard layout, with the mountain gate and the Hall of the Deity (Lao Ye Dian) situated along the central axis—both structures dating back to the Qing Dynasty, while the rest have been newly built. The Hall of the Deity sits on a stone platform that is 10.5 meters wide, 7.8 meters deep, and 0.7 meters high. The hall has three bays in width, five rafters in depth, a single-eave gable-and-hip roof, and a six-rafter front-porch framing system, though the interior fittings have been modified. Two stone steles commemorating Qing-era renovations are preserved on site. In 2006, the People’s Government of Dai County designated the temple as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Xiadian Village: In recent years, with the support and attention of the county and town party committees and governments, Xiadian Village has carried out a significant amount of work.
