Former Site of the Ning No. 2 District Office

The Former Site of the Ning No. 2 District Office is located in Ninghua Village, Huabeitun Township, Ningwu County. It faces south and covers an area of about 700 square meters. In 1946, Ningwu County was liberated. The county was divided into four districts, with Ninghua as the No. 2 District, and the district office was established in this compound. Later, when the Ninghua People's Commune was founded, the site became the commune’s headquarters. The commune housed units such as a post office, a health clinic, and a tax office. There is a lilac tree in the courtyard that was brought and planted by an official from another region during the Republican era. The current layout is that of a traditional quadrangle courtyard, with the main house, east and west wings all consisting of seven bays, each 20.6 meters in width. The south wing also has seven bays, but one bay in the middle is used as the gate. The site is currently occupied by the Ninghua Central Health Clinic.
