The Huangsonggou Grottoes are located on the yellow sandstone cliffs north of Huangsonggou Village, Hua dao Township, Ningwu County. Built against the mountain and facing south, they were carved during the Ming Dynasty and remain as they were then. There are two caves of different sizes. The larger cave is 10 meters wide and deep, and 3 meters high, with two rows of four stone pillars in front, featuring dragon carvings on the pillars. The ceiling has a caisson design, and the lintel is adorned with imitation wooden brackets. The smaller cave is 2.65 meters wide, 3 meters deep, and 1.15 meters high. The stone Buddha statues inside both caves have weathered away, leaving only the Buddhist altars. According to inscriptions in the caves, they were carved in the "6th year of the Tianshun era" of the Ming Dynasty (1462). The site is also known as "Dongwa" or "Luoshi Cave."
