Yujiangou Watermill Oil Workshop

Yujiangou Watermill Oil Workshop, located 2,000 meters east of Xiayujiangou Village, DieTaisi Township, Ningwu County. It faces south and measures 22.3 meters from east to west and 25 meters from north to south, covering an area of approximately 600 square meters. The structure is from the late Qing Dynasty. The existing watermill oil workshop is situated within a complete courtyard. The north building houses the watermill, which still contains remnants such as a damaged waterwheel. The west building is the oil pressing room, containing components of the oil press, etc. The south side has a sunning ground, and the west side also has a sunning space. The entire site also includes some auxiliary production and storage rooms, reflecting traditional rural architectural styles. This site is one of the only completely preserved examples of its kind in the region, showcasing the local villagers’ way of life and industrial heritage.

DieTaisi Township: DieTaisi Township is located in the southwest of Ningwu County, about 25 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Dongzhuang Township to the north, borders Changlianggou Town of Yuanping City to the east, adjoins Gexiang to the south, and connects to Dongzhai Town to the west. The total area is 109 square kilometers.

The township was liberated in 1945. In June 1953, the People's Government of DieTaisi Township was established. In March 1956, it was divided into two township governments: Xiling and DieTaisi.
