Pangquangou Hongliuwan Rafting

The Pangquangou Canyon Rafting is located in Shijiazhuang Village, Pangquangou Town, Jiaocheng County, Shanxi Province. The upper and lower docks are 6 kilometers apart, with a rafting distance of 10 kilometers. The river averages 8 meters in width and 80 centimeters in depth, with a vertical drop of 130 meters. Towering mountains line both sides of the river, surrounded by lush forests. Along the banks, green grass and weeping willows create a picturesque setting. The river channel varies in width, and the water flow alternates between fast and slow. The rafting route features both thrilling rapids and calm, clear pools, making it one of the best rafting destinations in North China. The project has completed its preliminary phase, including river channel improvements, water storage, shopping centers, ticketing centers, bathing facilities, dining areas, and parking lots. Currently, the rafting site can accommodate 5,000 to 10,000 visitors per day, making it the largest, highest-grade, and most fully equipped rafting project in Shanxi Province and even North China. The goal is to establish it as a “4A-level” tourist attraction within three years and develop it into the “Number One Rafting Destination in North China.”
