General Zuo Quan Martyrs' Cemetery

General Zuo Quan Martyrs' Cemetery is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism destination.

General Zuo Quan Martyrs' Cemetery, located in Beijie Hutong within Zuoquan County, faces south and is a highly educational revolutionary memorial site. General Zuo Quan, originally from Liling, Hunan, joined the Chinese revolution at an early age and went to the Soviet Union to study military affairs. After returning to China, he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Eighth Route Army and sacrificed his life in the battlefields around Mazhan, Zuoquan, during the War of Resistance against Japan. In his honor, the then Liaoxian County was renamed Zuoquan County.

Within the Zuo Quan Martyrs' Cemetery stands a hexagonal memorial monument dedicated to General Zuo Quan, along with bronze and plaster statues of him. On one side of the cemetery, there is also a memorial museum dedicated to General Zuo Quan. The cemetery is filled with blooming flowers, offering a serene, solemn, and respectful atmosphere.
