The site was built in the 1930s and consists of two parts—the main courtyard and the stable. The main courtyard is a traditional Chinese quadrangle with three courtyards. Except for the main room in the third courtyard, which is a brick arched cave dwelling, the other buildings are all single-eave, flush-gable roof structures made of brick and wood. From 1937 to 1940, the headquarters of the 129th Division was located here. Division Commander ___, Deputy Division Commander ___, Political Commissar Zhang Hao, Chief of Staff Ni Zhiliang, and Political Commissar ___ who succeeded Zhang Hao in 1938 led numerous battles of the War of Resistance Against Japan here, laying the foundation for the final victory of the war.
