Founded: Unknown Layout: Facing south, courtyard-style arrangement with a north-south axis. Along the central axis from south to north are the Mountain Gate and the Main Hall. Bell and drum towers are located on both sides of the gate. Side halls are built on the east and west sides of the courtyard, though the drum tower and side halls no longer exist.

The Mountain Gate has three bays in width and four rafters in depth, with a single-eave hanging gable roof. It is covered with tubular and flat tiles, edged with yellow and green glazed tiles. The main ridge features flying dragons and peonies in yellow and green glaze, arranged flexibly without symmetry—some dragons rear their heads while others lower them, each with unique postures and vivid expressions. At the intersection of the main and hip ridges, there are beast heads swallowing the hip ridges. The bracket sets are of the four-purlin single-tier type.

The Main Hall sits on a stone base, with a front terrace and stepped ramps. It has five bays in width and six rafters in depth, with a single-eave hanging gable roof. The central bay features a plank door, and the roof is covered with tubular and flat tiles, edged with yellow and green glazed tiles. The main ridge is adorned with flying dragons and peonies in yellow and green glaze, and beast heads at either end of the ridge swallow the hip ridges. The ridge ends are black-glazed chiwei (mythical fish-like ornaments).

In May 2013, Weize Shousheng Temple was designated as part of the seventh group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
