Yongkeluo Park

In the Wa language, "keluo" refers to a wooden drum, and "Yongkeluo" means "wooden drum house" or "wooden drum village." Yongkeluo Park is a theme park dedicated to showcasing the Wa people’s spiritual instrument that connects them to the heavens — the wooden drum. Following traditional Wa customs, hundreds of wooden drums are displayed in drum houses throughout the park, forming a rhythmic, visually striking drum cluster that greets visitors. Here, you will see the world’s largest collection of wooden drums and the biggest wooden drum in existence. Additionally, you can view the Wa people’s "gate guardian" statues, towering ox horn posts, bull-sacrificing posts, vine suspension bridges, mysterious human head posts, and the monument to “The Wa People Sing a New Song.” This iconic song was composed by Yang Zhenren in the former Mowo Township of Ximeng County, inspired by the traditional Wa folk song “The White Pheasant.” It has since become the county anthem of Ximeng Wa Autonomous County.
