The Qixian Luo Guanzhong Memorial Hall is located in Hewan Village, Xiliuzhi Township, Qixian County, bordered to the south by the renowned Jiugou Scenic Area and to the north by the Nan-Tongpu Railway and National Highway 108. Currently, a former ancestral hall of the Luo family has been repurposed as the Luo Guanzhong Memorial Hall, which displays a collection of precious cultural relics, including Luo Guanzhong’s genealogy, spirit tablets, and an inkstone he once used.

Luo Guanzhong’s former residence is situated within the village, featuring a gate plaque inscribed with “Tian Gao Yue Dan” (The Moon Soars High), penned by Qing dynasty’s Zhuxi Shanren. Preserved within the village are Guanzhong’s tomb, a thousand-year-old scholar tree, the Wenfeng Pagoda, and the River-Controlling Ox. These have become another popular tourist attraction for those researching Luo Guanzhong and visiting the area.

Luo Guanzhong (circa 1330–circa 1400), of Han ethnicity, was originally from Dongyuan, Shandong (now Dongping County, Shandong Province). His given name was Ben, his courtesy name was Guanzhong, and his pseudonym was Huhai Sanren. He was a renowned novelist and dramatist of the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties. Luo Guanzhong authored numerous works throughout his life, including plays such as Zhao Taizu Longhu Fengyun Hui (The Dragon and Tiger Meeting of Emperor Zhao), and novels such as Romance of the Three Kingdoms, The Chronicles of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and The Tales of the Fragmented Tang and Five Dynasties.
