Yanhe Nanzhuang Tourist Scenic Area

Yanhe Nanzhuang Tourist Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Nanzhuang Village in Shazi Town, Yanhe County is a rural tourism destination primarily featuring "hollow plums" as its main tourist attraction, and it is also a national AAA-level tourist attraction. The "hollow plum" is a unique and scarce regional product, recognized as a national geographical indication brand, and is praised as the "Maotai of fruits." In recent years, the village has constructed tourism infrastructure such as walking trails, sightseeing platforms, parking lots, and leisure pavilions. Visitors from both within and outside the province flock here to experience the rural flower seas.

The cultivation area of hollow plums has expanded, and farmers' fruit income has increased year by year. The county has also turned its attention to rural ecotourism, building 84 kilometers of new industrial roads, over 280 kilometers of hardened pathways in orchards, one water recreation area, seven sightseeing pavilions, two observation decks, six parking lots, and two cultural and sports squares. Local residents have independently established one rural tourism resort, five leisure villas, and more than 20 "farmhouse dining" spots, as well as formed the "Zhuobeier" Ethnic Art Troupe to perform folk songs and dances for visitors.

During the peak tourist season, villagers in Nanzhuang set up snack stalls in front of their homes selling foods like sweet potato starch noodles, rice tofu, and cold noodles. Even selling bottled water can earn them over 100 yuan a day.

To promote the development of rural ecotourism, the county has held three consecutive "Hollow Plum Flower Cultural Tourism Weeks" in Nanzhuang, promoting the village and attracting over 500,000 visitors annually, generating more than 120 million yuan in tourism revenue.

In 2012, Nanzhuang Ecotourism Village was rated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

In 2013, the Shazi Hollow Plum Modern High-efficiency Agricultural Demonstration Park was listed as part of the province's "5 of 100" project.
