Chongdi Outdoor Base Camp is located in Zaibao Village, Taiping Township, and is the only outdoor sports base camp in the Fanjingshan area. Among the lawns and willow trees, you might find contented water buffaloes, composed Tujia folk singers, visitors busy barbecuing, nature photography enthusiasts capturing scenic views, or people fishing and bathing. “The old and the young alike are all living carefree and happy lives,” offering a true paradise-on-earth vibe. From April to October each year, visitors flock here to engage in outdoor activities and tourism.

Between Chongdi and Censuo, there is a suspension bridge over twenty meters long that is especially beloved by visitors. Those who love the scenery can stand on the bridge and take in the views on both sides of the river. The suspension bridge is also part of the Taiping River footpath, making it a unique landscape in itself.
