General Yang Zhicheng Memorial Hall

To commemorate the outstanding contributions of General Yang Zhicheng, the People's Government of Sansui County established the General Yang Cheng Memorial Hall in 2003. The museum covers an area of 460 m², with a construction area of approximately 200 m², and receives over 70,000 visitors from within and outside the province each year. The exhibition hall houses various materials, photos, calligraphy, paintings, and many precious personal belongings of the general, spanning from the Nanchang Uprising, the Long March of the Red Army, the War of Resistance against Japan, to the period after the founding of New China. There are a total of 86 photos, 10 pieces (sets) of clothing, 8 items of use, 6 books, 25 documents, and 4 letters. In 2003, the General Yang Cheng Memorial Hall was listed as a Patriotic Education Base of Sansui County. In 2005, it was designated as a Guizhou Provincial National Defense Education Base by the Provincial People's Government. In 2008, it was listed as a Qiandongnan Prefecture Patriotic Education Base by the Prefectural People's Government.
