Qixian Valley

Qixian Valley is located in the Mianshan Scenic Area of Jiexiu, Shanxi Province. It is a winding canyon with a narrow, zigzagging sky passage. Visitors walk across suspension bridges while waterfalls cascade beneath their feet, creating a uniquely spectacular landscape. Starting from the Xianren Valley parking lot and heading south, cross the bridge to reach Xishuigou. Follow the stream upward and stroll through the Baiyun Valley, where steep peaks rise on both sides, covered in dense greenery. The valley boasts lush vegetation, bubbling streams, and the soothing sound of flowing water, offering an exceptionally tranquil environment.

The Qixian Valley scenic area in Mianshan is known for its thrilling rope ladders. By climbing them, visitors can reach Jie Gong Ridge — the very path where Jie Zitui once carried his mother into the mountains through this very valley, hence the name Qixian Valley.
