Ancient Vine Valley, commonly known as Stream Gully, is a pristine and vast wild botanical garden and an ecological natural landscape within Mount Mian. Numerous mountain springs flow underground and converge in the valley to form the Ancient Quiet River. Historical records indicate that this area was once one of the sources of the Jinglin River in Mount Mian, and it was also where the famous Tang Dynasty prime minister Linghu Chu founded the Jinglin Academy, hence the name “Jinglin Vine…”
