Xiangzhi Gully

Xiangzhi Gully is located in Xinbao Township, Wudang District, about 35 kilometers northeast of Guiyang. It is a simple and natural mountain village, as well as a tranquil and picturesque world. The area features seven scenic spots, including Guodiqing, Nanjing Temple, Longjingwan, and Majiaochong. There is fresh air, clear streams, quiet mountain wilderness, verdant hills, and green moss; there are also ancient paper-making workshops, revolving stone mills, suspended water channels, and farmhouses nestled in dense shade. Moreover, there are winding mountain paths, dense bamboo forests, wisps of cooking smoke, and sounds of chickens crowing and dogs barking. Dining / Accommodation / Shopping

The “Xiangzhi Gully” guesthouse offers standard rooms for two people at 50 RMB per room and for three people at 40 RMB per room. Visitors can also enjoy local farmhouse meals here, featuring dishes such as stir-fried preserved pork with Houttuynia cordata and freshly ground tofu pudding, along with other fresh wild vegetables.

Transportation

1. Minibuses to Xiangzhi Gully depart from the tourist bus station opposite Qianling Park. There is one bus daily at 8:00, 10:00, 14:00, and 16:00. The ticket price is 10 RMB per person, and the journey takes one and a half hours.

2. By car, you can take the route from Guiyang — Xintianzhai — Shuitian — Xinbao — Scenic Area.
