Yudong Gorge

Introduction: Located 15 kilometers from the center of Guiyang, the Yudong Gorge Scenic Area lies in the transitional zone between the Central Guizhou Uplift and the Southern Guizhou Depression. The area features undulating mountain ranges and towering steep cliffs, forming unique karst cliffs and canyon landscapes. The Nanming River, Yuliang River, and Yudong River meander and intertwine, earning the reputation of the "Ten-Mile River Bend." Transportation: You can take a minibus to Wudang from the entrance of Guizhou Normal University, then transfer to a direct shuttle bus to the scenic area. Alternatively, you can take a tricycle (locally called “guaidi”), which costs just 2 yuan to reach the Yudong Gorge Scenic Area.
