Chengdu Cultural Park

Located on Qintai Road in Chengdu, Cultural Park was reconstructed in 1951 on the former site of Erxian An. It covers an area of 150 mu. As a comprehensive park primarily dedicated to hosting various cultural events, it features a variety of flowers, potted plants, rare trees, and exotic plants.

The annual Chengdu Lantern Festival and Chengdu Flower Fair are famous both in China and abroad. During these events, a rich array of cultural performances, calligraphy and photography exhibitions, as well as local snack fairs are also held.

The park houses the Twelve Bridges Martyrs' Cemetery, which commemorates the 32 martyrs secretly killed by secret agents on the eve of Chengdu’s liberation. It is a provincial-level cultural heritage protection site.

Starting from December 20, 2001, Cultural Park became the third major comprehensive park in Chengdu to offer free admission, following Xinhua Park and Baihuatan Park.
