Address: Xinbei Village, Mamu Township, 5 km northwest of Hongtong County

Built in the year of Yichou during the reign of Yuan Taizong (1229), with renovations carried out during the Ming, Qing, and Republican periods. The extant main structures — the Jade Emperor Hall, Guan Yu Hall, and Erlang Hall — are all Yuan Dynasty buildings.

The temple faces south and is divided into front and rear courtyards, with a total floor area of 4,128 square meters. Along the central axis of the rear courtyard from south to north are the main gate, ceremonial gate, terrace, Eight Trigrams platform, and Jade Emperor Hall. The Erlang Hall and Guan Yu Hall are located on the east and west sides of the Jade Emperor Hall, while the stage is situated at the southern end of the front courtyard, with the temple’s main entrance on the east side.

The beam frames inside the three main halls are all constructed with wooden brackets, preserving the typical architectural style of the period. The interiors feature murals depicting historical and mythological scenes, many of which remain well-preserved, along with inscriptions and cultural relics. Extended Reading:
