Ink Landscape Shunhe Tourist Area

The Ink Landscape Shunhe Tourist Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Shunhe Village in Yongsheng Township is the “gateway” to the Dawei Mountain Scenic Area. In 2013, the Jinkouhe District Committee and District Government designated the village as a municipal-level model village for the construction of Yi ethnic new settlements. A total investment of over 17 million yuan was made, completing housing for 80 households (32 newly built and 48 renovated), along with the construction of supporting infrastructure such as water, electricity, and roads, as well as cultural facilities including a cultural square, an Ink Landscape Corridor, and a Farming Culture Garden. In March 2017, the village was named one of the second batch of “China’s Ethnic Minority Characteristic Villages” by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission; in June 2017, it was designated as a sketching base by the Leshan Contemporary Oil Painting Academy and the Leshan Branch of the Sichuan Watercolor Painting Research Association.

In recent years, relying on its geographical advantages, Shunhe Village has firmly established the development philosophy of “prospering the village through new settlements, strengthening it through industries, and enriching it through tourism.” It has vigorously supported specialized cooperatives and large-scale farmers, driving the development of tourism services in the village, key industries such as loquat, bletilla striata, and paris polyphylla cultivation, as well as livestock breeding including pigs, goats, and pheasants. Currently, the village has three star-rated agritainment farms. In conjunction with tourism industry development, the planting of off-season loquats has been expanded, with loquat cultivation covering an area of over 500 acres, vegetables 260 acres, and paris polyphylla 20 acres.
