The Ancient City and Tomb Site of Eyu is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shanxi Province.

The Ancient City and Tomb Site of Eyu (Second Batch of Provincial-Level Protected Sites)

Era: Eastern Zhou Dynasty

Location: Southwest of Wusu Village, Ce Village Township, Qinxian County

It was an extremely important ancient settlement site and a strategic military location. During the Warring States period, the ancient city of Eyu belonged to the State of Han and later to the State of Zhao.

In 1973, multiple Warring States-period tomb clusters were discovered north of the village. In 1979, a large number of Eastern Zhou pottery shards and remnants of ancient city walls were found within the ancient city ruins east of the village. After verification, these were identified as the site of the ancient city of Eyu. The original topography and landforms have not been destructively altered by construction.
