Nanxi Moon Bay is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Nanxi Moon Bay 3A-level Scenic Area is situated in Peishi Town and functions as an integrated rural revitalization model that combines Party building leadership, Bashu family tradition culture heritage, integrity culture education, premium lotus flower viewing, ecological fruit harvesting, farming culture experiences, rural homestays, and camping leisure. With over 1,000 acres of lotus cultivation, the area includes 32 attractions such as Mingyue Tower, Homesickness Tree, Lotus Expo Garden, China Family Tradition Museum, Bashu Genealogy Museum, Yibin Celebrities Museum, Bashu Family Tradition Wall, Original Aspiration Square, and various pavilions and towers. It is recognized as a provincial-level integrity education base and a Bashu family tradition heritage demonstration site.

The park cultivates 13 varieties of lotus flowers, complemented by aquatic cannas, water lilies, sailfin catfish, and other wetland plants. These not only beautify the village landscape but also support the development of the lotus industry. Lotus culture, integrity culture, and family tradition values are integrated into rural landscape design, allowing visitors to subtly absorb the essence of “uprightness and clean governance.”

The China Family Tradition Museum is divided into four sections: Chinese Lineages, Family Culture, Chinese Family Precepts, and Chinese Family Traditions. It explores the origins of families and the essence of life, showcasing the Chinese nation’s deep sense of family and country.

The Bashu Genealogy Museum houses facilities such as the Southern Sichuan Council Hall, Genealogy Archives Room, Family Tradition Lecture Hall, and Cultural Creativity Exhibition Rooms. It primarily displays genealogies, family rules, and precepts from Sichuan Province dating back to the Qing Dynasty. To date, over 500 volumes of Bashu genealogies have been collected, with more than 100 displayed. The Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences and several higher education institutions also use this site as a research base for genealogy culture studies.

Peishi Town: Peishi Township is located in the eastern part of Nanxi County, bordering Jiang’an County to the east, the Yangtze River to the south, Nanxi Town to the west, and Liubin Township to the north. It is 6.3 kilometers from the county seat. The town governs 13 administrative villages and 87 villager groups, covering a total area of 33.4 square kilometers with 19,054 mu of arable land, including 13,252 mu of paddy fields and 4,295 mu of forest land. By the end of 2002, the total population was 21,937, comprising 6,059 households, of which 18,789 were agricultural residents, with no ethnic minority populations.
