Bamaopo Forest Park

Bamaopo Forest Park is located at the junction of Yunyan Town, Tengda Town, and Jiaocun Town in Gao County, 18 kilometers from the county seat. It is owned by the county state-owned forest farm. Established in 1958 and planned by the Sichuan Provincial Forestry Survey and Design Institute, its initial design covered an area of 31,995 mu. Following the 1986 "Second-Class Forest Resources Survey," the managed area was reduced to 14,407.5 mu. With its beautiful natural environment and abundant Phoebe zhennan trees, it has become a municipal-level nature reserve. The first phase of tourism development has commenced, and the scenic area, themed around "sunlight, air, and forest," is taking shape.

Yunyan Town: Located in the county seat of Yunyan, at the border between Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, Yunyan Town borders Gao County to the north and Yunnan’s Yanjin to the west. It is 98 kilometers from Yibin and 10 kilometers from the Jinyun Railway branch line, with an average elevation of 400 meters. The town government is situated in the southern part of the county seat, the political, economic, and cultural center of Yunyan County.
