Western China Cave Cluster

The Western China Cave Cluster in China is located in Shuangteng Town, Yunlian County, covering an area of over 60 square kilometers. The core scenic spot, ShenYang Cave, features typical karst landforms, including open-air bonsai and the romantic Lovers' Valley. In addition, there are natural wonders such as the Natural Bridge, Crouching Lion, Golden Turtle Gazing at the Moon, Flock of Sheep Descending the Mountain, and Wolf Howling at the Sky—truly a testament to the wonders of nature's craftsmanship.

ShenYang Cave, FeiLong Cave, XueHua Cave, BaJiao Cave, XiangShui Cave, LouShui Cave, LiangFeng Cave, Lovers' Cave, DaChuan Cave, XiaoChuan Cave, AhHou Cave, and NiuBi Cave are all concentrated within a 4-square-kilometer karst mountain range. These caves intersect with one another, featuring cave-within-cave structures that form an endless underground labyrinth. Inside the caves runs an underground river with a constant temperature of 15–18 degrees Celsius. The cave entrances are spacious, while the interiors are grand, with moderate water levels—even during the dry season, the water surface reaches up to 10 meters wide. Visitors can go boating, fishing, wading, or swimming, making for an incredibly immersive and magical experience.

Shuangteng Town: Located in the southwestern part of Yunlian County, Shuangteng Town covers an area of 87 square kilometers, with 58,000 mu of arable land. It governs 15 villages, one neighborhood committee, and 92 villager groups, with a total population of 20,335, of which 19,475 are agricultural residents. The town government is based in Shuanghechang, nestled against mountains and near water, about 14 kilometers from the county seat. It is connected to the county via cement and asphalt roads. The town enjoys convenient transportation and well-developed infrastructure, with roads reaching every village within the town and external transport links in all directions.
