Introduction to Aba Baiyang Nature Reserve The Sichuan Baiyang Nature Reserve is located in the middle section of the southern foothills of the Minshan Mountain Range, within the territories of Baiyang Township, Dazhai Township, Daxing Township, and Minjiang Township in Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was established in 1993 with the approval of Document No. 67 [1993] issued by the General Office of the Provincial People's Government, and is a provincial-level nature reserve.

Minjiang Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Songpan County. Established as a commune in 1972 and restructured as a township in 1984. Located in the southeastern part of the county, it is 26.6 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 216 square kilometers with a population of 3,000, it is traversed by National Highway 213. The township administers five village committees: Minjiang, Baidingguan, Ruojie, Xintangguan, and Longtan. The main agricultural products are wheat, corn, and highland barley.
