Songpan Minjiang River Source National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Sichuan Songpan Minjiang River Source National Wetland Park (Pilot) is located in Songpan County, Sichuan Province, covering a total area of 1,135.6 hectares. The wetland park stretches from east to west, bounded by the first mountain ridge on both the north and south sides. It extends from Gonggang Ridge at an altitude of 4,300 meters in the west to the 32 km mark of the “Nine-Ring Road” in the east. As the source of the Minjiang River, it is situated at an important junction of the Yangtze River and the water system of the Sichuan Basin. The Minjiang River source is an expansive marshland, and it is the only one among all major rivers that originates from a marsh.

Area: The total area of the wetland park is 1,135.6 hectares, of which the wetland area accounts for 931.2 hectares, making the wetland coverage rate 82.0%.

Address: Located in Shuijing Township, Songpan County, Aba Prefecture, it mainly includes the river section at the source of the Minjiang River and its surrounding areas.
