Xuyong County Museum of Wood and Stone Carving Art The Xuyong County Museum of Wood and Stone Carving Art was established in 1998 and was originally located at the site of the Chunjia Ancestral Hall. In 2015, a museum exhibition room was set up in the new district of Xuyong County and opened to the public on May 18, International Museum Day, free of charge.

Xuyong County Museum of Wood and Stone Carving Art (Exhibition Room) The exhibition displays 32 pieces of actual stone carving relics, 23 pieces of actual wood carving relics, 5 multimedia exhibits, 2 interactive human-computer experience projects, 10 other types of premium cultural relics from the collection, and 128 images. The main focus is on showcasing the exquisite local wood and stone carvings unique to Xuyong, supplemented by other types of relics. It reflects various aspects of the roots of Xuyong’s flourishing wood and stone carving culture and its distinctive local cultural features. The exhibition design is distinctive, with appropriate use of multimedia techniques, ingenious layout, and complementary integration with the relics. The display is highly enjoyable and engaging, featuring relatively innovative elements among museums of the same type and level.
