The Tomb of Li Shu’an and His Wife is located in Xuyong Town and dates back to the Qing Dynasty. It is categorized as an ancient tomb.

On December 18, 2019, the People's Government of Xuyong County designated the Tomb of Li Shu’an and His Wife as a Cultural Relics Protection Unit at the county level in the fourth batch.

Xuyong Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xuyong County and the seat of the county government. Historically, it was a key route from southern Sichuan to Yunnan and Guizhou, and one of the ports for exporting Sichuan salt. During the Ming Dynasty, it was the territory of Yongning Pacification Commission and Yongning Guard, and in the Qing Dynasty, it served as the seat of Xuyong Direct-Controlled Prefecture and Yongning Zhou. In 1933, it was established as Zhongcheng Town, renamed Shuangcheng Town in 1942, divided into Dongcheng and Xicheng towns in 1951, merged to form Chengguan Town in 1956, and renamed Xuyong Town in 1981. It is located in the central part of the county, spanning both banks of the Yongning River. The area covers 117.6 square kilometers with a population of 86,000.
