The Tomb of Wanrong is a cultural heritage protection site under Xuyong County.

The Tomb of Wanrong is located in Xuyong Town, Xuyong County, and is designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection site.

Protected area: A 5-meter radius around the main tomb structure is designated as the protected zone.

Construction control zone: A 10-meter buffer beyond the protected area constitutes the construction control zone.

Xuyong Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xuyong County and the seat of the county government. Historically, it was an important route from southern Sichuan to Yunnan and Guizhou, and one of the ports for the export of Sichuan salt. In the Ming Dynasty, it was part of Yongning Pacification Commission and Yongning Guard; in the Qing Dynasty, it served as the seat of Xuyong Direct-Controlled Prefecture and Yongning Prefecture. Established as Zhongcheng Town in 1933, renamed Shuangcheng Town in 1942, divided into Dongcheng and Xicheng towns in 1951, merged to form Chengguan Town in 1956, and renamed Xuyong Town in 1981. Located in the central part of the county, spanning both sides of the Yongning River. It covers an area of 117.6 square kilometers and has a population of 86,000. National Highway 321 and the eastern section of Sichuan-Yunnan Road pass through the area.
