Xiawokuozi Wangye Temple is a cultural heritage protection unit of Xuyong County.

Xiawokuozi Wangye Temple is located in Xuyong Town, Xuyong County, and is a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Protected area: A 5-meter zone extending outward from the main exterior walls of the building constitutes the protected area.

Construction control zone: A 10-meter zone extending outward from the protected area constitutes the construction control zone.

Xuyong Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xuyong County and the seat of the county government. Historically, it was a key route from southern Sichuan to Yunnan and Guizhou, and one of the ports for the export of Sichuan salt. During the Ming Dynasty, it was the territory of Yongning Pacification Commission and Yongning Guard; during the Qing Dynasty, it was the seat of Xuyong Direct-Controlled Prefecture and Yongning Prefecture. In 1933, it was established as Zhongcheng Town, renamed Shuangcheng Town in 1942, divided into Dongcheng and Xicheng towns in 1951, merged to form Chengguan Town in 1956, and renamed Xuyong Town in 1981. It is located in the central part of the county, spanning both banks of the Yongning River. The area covers 117.6 square kilometers with a population of 86,000.
