Shuiwei Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xuyong County. Established as Shuiwei Township in 1948, upgraded to a commune in 1958, and became a town in 1987. It is located in the northeastern part of the county, 44 kilometers from the county seat. The town covers an area of 235 square kilometers and has a population of 25,000. The eastern section of the Sichuan–Yunnan Highway passes through here.
