Temple of Li Bai and Du Fu

The Temple of Li Bai and Du Fu is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

The Temple of Li Bai and Du Fu is situated on the eastern bank of Furong Stream, about 2 kilometers east of Mianyang City. It was built by later generations to commemorate the visits of the great Tang Dynasty poets Li Bai and Du Fu to Mianzhou. In front of the temple is the clear Furong Stream, and behind it stands the lush Fuluo Mountain. The site preserves structures such as the main gate, screen wall, Gongbu Ancestral Hall, waterside pavilion, and pond, all built in the 26th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1900). Covering an area of 6 mu, the Gongbu Ancestral Hall is a single-eave suspended-gable wooden structure supported by lifted beams, with a floor area of 120.96 square meters. The waterside pavilion is relatively large, featuring a single-eave hip-and-gable roof with a lifted beam structure. It is 15.4 meters long and 5.9 meters wide, spanning across the pond. The site is enclosed by walls, with flower beds inside the garden, offering a tranquil environment and pleasant scenery. In recent years, it has been restored to its original glory, and now features an exhibition titled "Li Bai, Du Fu, and Mianzhou," attracting a continuous stream of visitors. It is currently a key cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

Protected area: East to Foweng Road, North to Furongxi Road, West and South to the surrounding wall of Hengxin Huayuan residential community.
