Mianyang Museum

The new building of Mianyang Museum covers an area of 43,527.94 m², with an actual construction area of 29,960 m². It is located at the western foot of Fule Mountain, north of Fule Hall, and on the eastern bank of Furong Stream. This modern comprehensive museum is fully equipped and well-facilitated, utilizing high-tech exhibition methods to showcase and interpret the essence of Mianyang’s cultural history and natural ecology. Its exhibitions are clearly positioned, distinctive in character, with clear highlights and rich features. The displays mainly consist of two permanent exhibitions—"A Thousand Years in Retrospect: Ancient Mianzhou—Mianyang’s Historical and Cultural Exhibition" and "Minshan and Fu River—Mianyang’s Natural Exhibition"—as well as four thematic exhibitions: "Flowing Memories—Mianyang’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition," "Dreams of Fule—Mianyang’s Money Tree Exhibition," "The Nation’s Greatest Use—Mianyang’s Han Dynasty Horse Exhibition," and "Caves in the Mountains—Mianyang’s Cliff Tomb Exhibition."
