Introduction to Mianyang Panjiang River Rafting The Panjiang River, also known as the Tongkou River, originates in Songpan County, Sichuan Province. It flows through Songpan, Pingwu, Beichuan, and Jiangyou, four counties and cities, before joining the Fujiang River at Qinglian Town in Jiangyou. The river stretches 214.3 kilometers in length, covering a drainage area of over 7,000 square kilometers.

The area features beautiful mountains and clear waters, as well as a land of outstanding people. Legends say that Yu the Great, the Supreme Deity Taiyi, Nezha, and Li Bai all hailed from this region. It is home to many renowned cultural and natural attractions such as the “Jade Pool on Earth” – Huanglong Temple; the “Celestial Cave of Taiyi” – Jinguang Cave; the “Southwest Wonder” – Bailong Palace; and the poetic legacy of the “Immortal Poet” – the former residence of Li Bai.
