Jiangyou Taibai Stele Forest

The Jiangyou Taibai Stele Forest in Sichuan was built by the people of Li Bai’s hometown to commemorate the great romantic poet Li Bai. In order to further promote Li Bai's culture and help the public gain a deeper understanding of Li Bai and his poetry, it is an important cultural landmark jointly planned and constructed by eight organizations including the Jiangyou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. It is a must-visit destination with high aspirations, strong artistic value, and exceptional visual appeal.

The stele forest is designed with a garden as its foundation, combining traditional art with modern aesthetic concepts. Based on the thematic flow of Li Bai’s poetry, it is divided into five major sections: “Li Bai’s Poetry Masterpieces Garden,” “Garden of Clear Winds and Bright Moons,” “Garden of Hometown Landscapes,” “Garden of Dream-Seeking and Needle Grinding,” and “Garden of the Poetic Immortal in Drunkenness.” The engraved artworks mainly consist of nearly 2,000 creative masterpieces, including Li Bai’s poems written by famous calligraphers and painters from various dynasties and couplets and poems praising Li Bai. With their diverse styles, these works fully reflect the profound charm of China’s time-honored calligraphy and painting arts, offering great appreciation and artistic value.
