Century Harmony Love Valley is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

China's Century Harmony Love Valley is located in Dakang Town, about 10 kilometers northwest of Jiangyou City, the hometown of the great Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, and 37 kilometers from Mianyang. Its core scenic area, the International Lily Expo Park, covers an area of 5,200 acres and includes a visitor center, First Sight Love, Mutual Affection, Love Sealed with a Lifetime Vow, greenhouses, an export supermarket, and a lily product R&D center. The project aims to become China’s largest lily bulb breeding base, a distinctive wedding destination, and a love-themed park, with an estimated total investment of about 400 million yuan. The project's goal is to achieve integration and interaction among primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, and to develop a model for the integrated growth of “culture, agriculture, and tourism” in Jiangyou. The aim is to create a complete industrial chain—from the sales of fresh-cut flowers, commercial bulbs, and fresh lily bulbs, to the initial and deep processing of lilies to increase their added value—while also integrating love culture elements. Developed as a AAAA-level scenic tourism destination, it forms a comprehensive industry chain.

Century Harmony Love Valley is affiliated with Jiangyou Songling Agricultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., which was established in February 2015 with registered capital of 50 million yuan. Its office is located at the International Lily Expo Park, Guandu Village, Dakang Town, Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province. The company is mainly engaged in tourism project development, lily cultivation and sales, primary processing and sales of agricultural products, agro-ecological tourism services, and catering services.

The company currently has 160 employees, including 50 mid- to senior-level technical personnel, and has established long-term cooperative relationships with several research institutions and universities such as the Institute of Botany at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sichuan Agricultural University, Southwest University of Science and Technology, and Chengdu Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The company has departments including Finance, General Affairs, Sales, Operations Support, Marketing Planning, and a Visitor Center.

Leveraging the unique resource advantage of being in the hometown of Li Bai, and drawing on the historical culture surrounding Li Bai, the company invested in constructing the large-scale integrated lily industrial park called the International Lily Expo Park. Phase I of the project covers an area of 5 square kilometers with an investment of 600 million yuan. When fully completed, it will span 15 square kilometers, with a total investment of approximately 650 million yuan, and is scheduled to be built within three years. Once fully operational, the annual output value is expected to exceed 500 million yuan, generating 80 million yuan in profits and taxes, and providing over 3,000 job opportunities. The project is built to AAAA-level scenic standards, leveraging the advantages of being the country’s largest lily bulb breeding base. With lily viewing as the theme and love symbolized by lilies as the main thread, the project interprets romantic creative concepts and culture along the visiting routes themed "First Sight Love", "Mutual Affection", and "Love Sealed with a Lifetime Vow". It is designed to become a high-end lily theme park and aims to build one of China’s premier international tourism destinations themed around “love and lilies”.

Business Operations:

Currently, the expo park cultivates over 3,000 acres of lilies and various flowers, and features an 8,000-square-meter intelligent greenhouse and 14 contiguous flower greenhouses covering a total of 80,000 square meters. These use intelligent control systems to improve the growing environment inside the greenhouses, allowing different varieties to be grown in different seasons, ensuring lilies bloom year-round. The company has invested 30 million yuan in building a product R&D center and processing plant, as well as a preservation storage facility with a capacity of over 1,000 tons, fully equipped for processing lily series products that meet EU certification standards. In October 2015, the company’s lily products were officially designated as part of the “Top Eight Jiangyou Specialties” after evaluation by municipal expert panels.

The company’s earlier agricultural projects primarily focused on cultivating and breeding high-quality lily bulbs and developing contract farming, targeting major agricultural planting companies, specialized cooperatives, large-scale lily farmers, and other planting collectives and individuals. Customers are spread across regions such as Hunan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Hubei, and the company has initially established a product sales network covering online, offline, physical retail, and other channels. After scaling up cultivation, the company recovers the produce for processing into dried lily slices, lily powder, and lily flower tea, mainly targeting wholesalers, large supermarkets, and general agents in first- and second-tier cities. The company’s main products include fresh lilies, dried lily slices, lily flower tea, lily beverages, and it also provides edible and ornamental lily bulbs year-round.

Development Plan:

According to the company’s overall plans, in coordination with the Jiangyou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government's plan for constructing the Dakang Modern Agriculture Industrial Park, the company intends to establish a diversified development strategy over the next five years—including the construction of Jiangyou Lily City—and upgrade Century Harmony Love Valley to AAAA-level standards with comprehensive tourism facilities. After completing product production lines, batch processing of lily products will commence, striving to develop nationally renowned brand products. The International Lily Expo Park will be developed into a truly complete industrial chain integrating agricultural planting, eco-agricultural tourism, agricultural product processing, lily education exhibits, and commercial services.

Through scientific planning and integrated design, the company has completed Phase I of the Lily Expo Park. The park integrates the entire lily value chain from bulb cultivation to planting, processing, sales, ecological tourism, leisure entertainment, catering, commercial wholesale and retail, technology exhibitions, academic exchanges, and recreational wellness, achieving a unified model of “agriculture, culture, tourism, industry, academia, and research”. It fosters interaction between primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, forming a "sixth industry". All of the company’s products are produced according to green food standards, including the “Songhualing” brand series of lily bulbs, fresh edible lilies, lily powder, dried lily flowers, lily beverages, lily wine, etc. The cultivation and planting process is fully traceable, with transparent standardized factory designs that allow production visibility, committing to being a transparent and responsible enterprise producing safe, green food. The company has obtained green food certification, completed registration of the Songhualing trademark, and received official designation as a “Lily Park” from the Ministry of Forestry. Application for National Geographical Indication Protected Product status is underway.
