The Memorial Shrine of Eminent Figures is located in Qinglian Town. It features a one-courtyard, two-compound structure, with the second courtyard having a corridor and facing west to east. It is a post-and-lintel wooden structure with small blue tiles on the roof. The main gate of the shrine is situated on the eastern side of the building complex, fronting the street, with a total width of 24.42 meters and a total depth of 5.40 meters. The gate is a post-and-lintel wooden structure, covered with green butterfly tiles, and has a flush gable roof. The central pillar of the main bay originally held a panel door, with bamboo-woven mud-plastered walls above the door. The building’s axis extends 33 meters in depth and 24.5 meters in total width, with a construction area of about 800 square meters. After the 5.12 earthquake, it was fully restored with aid from Henan Province. The Memorial Shrine of Eminent Figures is a site where the people of Li Bai’s hometown pay tribute to Li Bai and other notable figures throughout history. It blends harmoniously with the landscape of Li Bai’s birthplace and holds significant cultural value.
