Qinglian Shaanxi Guild Hall

The Qinglian Shaanxi Guild Hall is a cultural relic protected at the municipal level in Jiangyou City.

The Shaanxi Guild Hall is located in Qinglian Town. It was built during the Qing Dynasty. The building faces northeast and is rectangular in shape, covering an area of 300 square meters. It features a suspended gable roof covered with small blue tiles, spans five bays (22.5 meters) in width and two bays (11.5 meters) in depth. The wooden framework combines the post-and-lintel and dougong systems, and is supported by twelve external wooden pillars and eight stone inner pillars, all resting on flat drum-shaped stone bases. The central and side bays use seven-rafter beams, which support camel humps carrying five-rafter beams, above which dougong brackets support the three-rafter beams. Above the three-rafter beams are ridge posts, flanked on both sides by decorative angle backs. The purlins are covered horizontally with roof boards. The roof is tiled with small blue tiles without mud backing, featuring straight drip tiles at the eaves. The center of the roof has a main ridge built with brick and tile covered in lime mortar, molded into a strip-style square ridge with decorative ridge-end ornaments in the middle. The Shaanxi Guild Hall is a structure of wood and stone, with grand-scale stone pillars and exquisitely carved column bases. Its architectural features reflect rich historical and cultural heritage. The guild hall provides tangible material for studying local ancient architecture and the history of migration.
