The Fengdu County Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

The Fengdu County Civil Affairs Bureau Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial Hall was established in June 2010. It was relocated, rebuilt, and renamed following the original Fengdu County Martyrs' Cemetery, which was moved due to the Three Gorges Project construction. It is a sub-department-level public institution fully funded by the government, currently staffed by eight full-time and part-time management and service personnel. The memorial hall covers an area of 14,000 square meters, with a total investment of 9.8 million yuan. It consists of the martyrs' cemetery, an exhibition hall, and other facilities, serving as a comprehensive site for honoring martyrs and educating the public through activities such as commemoration, paying respects, mourning, visiting, leisure, and fitness. Its main responsibilities include commemorating martyrs across the county, educating the public, maintaining and managing martyrs' memorial facilities, burying martyrs, exhibiting the deeds and relics of martyrs, collecting and compiling historical materials on martyrs, organizing commemorative events, and conducting educational outreach.

In June 2011, the Fengdu County Civil Affairs Bureau Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial Hall was named a “Model Unit for Professional Ethics Construction in the Civil Affairs System” by the Chongqing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau. On June 29, 2012, it was honored as a national “Model Unit for Professional Ethics Construction in the Civil Affairs System” and a “Public Satisfaction Window” by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. In January 2014, it was designated as a “Chongqing Patriotic Education Base” by the Chongqing Municipal Committee and Municipal Government.
